At 4am...
Mae (in a frightened tone): Daddy, I keep dreaming and thinking about a woman who has a bent and broken head...
Me: It’s okay, it’s just a dream. Jesus is more powerful than all these things sent by the devil. God’s angels are with you and they will cut down all these demons with these fiery swords.
Mae: But I am still thinking of it.
Me: It is okay to think of it. You don’t have to be afraid to see it. Just see it being defeated by Jesus. See all the angels cutting it down with their fiery swords.
(I went to take the anointing oil)
Me: Come let me pray for you, “Lord Jesus, protect Mae from all nightmares and let her know that you are stronger than all these demons. Let her know that you love her so much. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Mae: Amen.
(After a whilee of laying down on the bed)
Mae: Daddy, Jesus gave me a different thing to dream about now. I see germs running away. There is also a piggie and a horse.
Me: Haha okay, that’s good. *Hugs Mae to sleep*

Are you having nightmares?
Don’t be afraid to see the evil creatures within. Know that Jesus loves you and that He is the most powerful. Demons tremble in fear when they see Him because they don’t want to be cast into the abyss.
When you bravely face what you are afraid of, with a sense of being greatly beloved by Jesus, all the fear will melt away.
Enjoy your sleep, and don’t let the enemy scare you any more. Take authority over him and his demons in Jesus’ name. Cast them out!
